Rain
The sky grew shy as clouds drew near, And rain began to fall like tears— But not of sorrow, not of pain, They whispered love in drops of rain. Beneath one shade, just you and I, The world blurred gently as we sighed. Your fingers brushed my trembling hand, Like thunder meeting sea and sand. Each drop a verse, each breeze a rhyme, Our hearts in sync, beyond all time. In rain’s soft hush, the world stood still— Just you, just me, the storm, the thrill.
