Rain
The pitter-pattering of rain hit the concrete splashing into puddles I lay cuddled under the blanket with her Ghost watching the clouds shift headphones in the music resoundingly off the walls of my mind the rain falls endlessly I step into the open hoping to wash away my pain thinking maybe I'll gain clarity I take a deep breath .... of that calming air raise my face to the sky my tears mingle with the droplets falling off my chin oh how I love the rain
