Rain
Oh! What a happy day, When even the souls of the departed find joy, As the wind proudly whistles and blows from afar, And the trees rustle with a moody sway, The birds of the air gather in flocks to play. The day awakens earlier than usual, With dark clouds swiftly forming in the sky, Fair weather grants Xavia, the farmer, ample time, To gather tools and rush to the fields for preparation, By afternoon, his kin join him in the endeavor. Then, a cool wind gently embraces the land, And the scent of wet earth fills the air, Suddenly, a strong rain showers down, Children joyfully singing and dancing in the rain, Mothers scurrying to fetch water with tnks in tow. The farmers, hopeful for a bountiful harvest, Patiently wait for the fruits of their labor, While the priest and the elders offer prayers of gratitude, Thanking God for the precious gift of rain. 🌧️🌧️🌧️.
