rain

i look out the window All i can see is rain Rain forming puddles Brown puddles from the mud Clear puddles I smile It has been a while since i could smile I put on some pants and a crop top and ran outside I've always loved the rain But when i got outside And i smelt the rain It made me think of you How much fun we would have playing in the rain The different color puddles made me think of you to Because of when you left, there were two different colors Tiny puddles next to me One clear Because you made my eyes tear And one red and thick Because you made me hurt on the inside The only way i could control that is Making myself hurt on the outside You had hurt me bad, you know But i love the rain, so i try to get you off my mind I try to find something to distract myself with But at this point, im crying And i'm hurting So the only thing i can think of is to hurt myself on the outside But i can’t I start to jump around in the rain When i start to think of doing this with my friends Just then, i feel someone hug me I look around, and no one is there Other than the rain This is why i love the rain It's the smell. Just everything about the rain is comforting.
