Rage, Tyrants!
Rage, tyrants! Jeer at us, savagely threaten with prisons and shackles! We are mighty in spirit, though our bodies be trampled shame, shame, shame to you, tyrants! Let the weak in spirit tremble before you, shamefully trading their sacred rights; but we do not fear bodily wounds shame, shame, shame to you, tyrants! For hard labor in the share of eternal slavery the downtrodden people gathers wealth for you. But slavery and anguish cannot break a titan fear, fear, fear to you, tyrants! Bayonets gleam, whips threaten, your own terror does not forge chains. There will be a limit to your violence and shame, and fear, and death to you, tyrants! From spilled blood the Earth has reddened, everywhere a mighty battle has boiled, with fire our uprising embraces all countries shame, shame, and death to you, tyrants!
