Rage n Hurt
I'm lost, don't know where to begin, In this darkness, the pain's buried in. My mother, my blood, how could she depart, Leaving me wounded, with a broken heart? My anger burns, my hurt runs deep, How can I rest, how can I sleep? I just want her love, for that's my plea, But it's slipping away, can't she see? I don't want to lose her, but I'm torn, Do I miss her, or the image I've worn? I crave her love, not this despair, But who am I to decide, to bear? In my tears, I wonder if I'm wrong, For pointing out where she doesn't belong. I just want her near, to hold me tight, But it feels like my cries are lost in the night. The hurt goes deep, a well of pain, Started when I was small, a never-ending chain. But does that make her actions right? Leaving me alone, in the darkest night. I yearn for her love, it's all I plead, For her to return, to help me heal and heed. Deep down, I hope she'll one day find, That my love for her is unwavering, intertwined.
