Quixotic
Quixotic by Jack A. S. Dunce I felt the tug of fate's red thread. I'd like to think you felt it too; The moment we both stole a glance our eyes locked for a single beat, It seemed eternity had passed. You sat closer and passed my way We danced to a furtive tango, At least, that's how it seemed to me And my wild imagination. I felt you stood close behind me As if waiting for me to turn, Though it may have been a daydream Or maybe just wishful thinking. Whether the tug is true or not, I'll wind this thread into a ball; I've earned far too many deep scars Fighting windmills for far too long. --🌼-- ©️pgmr 07/10/2026 *True or not, you, who I'll never know, inspired this, and that's still a truth. 😁
