Quietly waiting
Deep down in my heart I too want to talk like they talk like real siblings, easy and close I want to hear my name I want them to call me when they're meeting Some days we could talk more but they leave me out like I’m not even there like I don’t exist beside them they make each other feel comfort to share, to talk, to answer but not me They pass by, ask me questions and I stay quiet anxious, nothing to say my words stuck inside because I don’t belong in that moment When they ask “Why is your voice so silent?” I say to myself because you never add me in the conversation because you left me out and made me feel like a shadow behind your light At home, my heart feels sad and many questions rise inside me questions I can’t put into words about why it always feels like I’m watching from the side and why my voice feels too small to matter
