Quiet
I'm quiet until we start talking. Then that quiet will turn to questions. Then stories. I'll share my favorite things. List what's common and different. Sometimes loud sometimes silent. Then I'll burst your eardrums with my singing. Test if you can handle my annoying. Soon, I'll go from quiet to noisy. Hope you can handle too much from me. Either go quiet or ignore you if attempted. Different for how I like you. I'll pray to anyone to keep you around. You could be the meanest, push me to the ground I'll grow tired if you do. Then, just fully ignore you. Make it past my challenges, Treasure underneath. Just broken glass, not yours to clean. You'll learn my triggers and learn my vulnerabilities. All of my songs and stories played on repeat. Finally, you'll learn, My quiet means something terrible happened.
