Questions of the heart

Sometimes love is unrealistic Sometimes it's the realest feeling Ours was a wave scariest feeling ever Came and went as seasons passed Took a look at you sometimes   I wondered why? Why stick around? my mind screamed Yet my feet stayed firm on the ground Even when my heart did sway My rationale did persuade Yet my nerves shut down  You said you hurt  When I smiled my heart said so do I But who do we fool We always knew better Yet I your arms felt like home Still I couldn't help but wonder Are you mine? When we locked our eyes I got lost in those deep brown iris My worries had  faded Space and time shifted Yet something in me knew it was wrong I guess that's why, right? Why the tears wouldn't fall Why my it all seemed surreal That's why our love was so scary
