Purple
Among the myriad of colors our eyes can behold, It is said that black and white aren't real. This is because one is the absence of such, The other a trick of our eyes mixing them all together. There exists one more, another color that isn't real. That is why it is my favorite. When I see this color, I think of void, of space, of nebulae. When I see this color I think of mystery, of beauty, of infinity. All from something that isn't real, The feelings of wonder and comfort are. I am a stargazer staring into the cosmos, When I look out there my mind wanders. For some reason, when I stare into you, I feel it too. What makes you special, my purple?
