Purgatory
Breaking down the mindful door Gazing through to open shore Stuck inside a tangled web Trapped within my own head Twisted voices like mocking calls Spiraling down through magma falls Fier blisters through my soul As the memories of it all takes its toll Asking why he'd sacrifice The whole world for what suffice Why should I give my faith When all he's ever done is take I scream in grief and despair No one can hear my melancholy air Wishing to believe it'll all be fine But fearing losing all my time Never once have I cared If I died, or if my soul to tear But now that gaping hole is stitched From a soul I've been bewitched Love is both blessed and cursed For we all fear to lose the one immersed My soul and heart I give to her Even if broken it were Death is inevitable and beautiful Life like a seed, growing to be meaningful Demons prey upon my mind Though she always gives kind Roses sprout from viney tangles Thorns sharp to mangle Are we all dead one way or another Do our souls stay here forever
