PTSD
Confined within fragile walls, I remain A groundless existence, lost and strained Gasping for breath, seeking solace in vain My tranquility hides, evading the game Tethered to a bed, in this forced abode Cognition fades, distant voices erode A photo reminiscing, a dream untold Forgiveness eludes, The screams take hold How can it be, the shadow resurrected Beneath my slumber, pain reinfected It claims no harm, yet wounds unprotected These scars too deep, forgiveness rejected Your proclaimed love, a heart of thorns forged Silencing me, a past forever mourned
