psalm 82: 6

‭Psalm 82:6 KJV‬ [6] I have said, Ye are gods; And all of you are children of the most High. Summon him, the messenger said. They pointed, and I was lifted from the soil of the earth like dust called by thunder. He looked at me and spoke: Distraction has become your closest companion. You, a god wrapped in mortal flesh, have allowed the skin to command the spirit. You feel pain now. You pity. You even cry. That is not us. Have you loved? That is an abomination. Return. Be sharp. Be straightforward. Be ruthless. The governments of men have begun to dictate your pace. Do not read their books. Meditate. Do not let their daughters sway you.
