Do you believe in Everything happens for a reason That timing isn't coincidence and Life has predestined seasons That what is meant to be Without fail shall come to pass That nothing lasts forever Except time which always has There's times I don't believe it There's times I think I might Depending on the circumstances Or if the stars are aligned just right Is the idea of a soulmate Just the embodiment of ideal Just something we tell ourselves When being lonely is far to real Can two people be the product of Or fall prey to being star-crossed An unrequited love described Once all hope has become lost Is everything we think we know Honestly just human perception What you see is what you get The very truth of self deception I guess I will never know Or maybe I already do Perhaps if I perceive it as so Than that has to make it true?
