Promises
Some are meant to be broken, For the greater good Some are carved in stone, lasting forever Others are written on paper that don't last long. The lifetime of a promise purely depends on the one who makes it, Never make promises that can't be fulfilled. Promises may break apart, Because of a tiny mistake, the solution lies in both communication and understanding. Promises hold both greatness and danger, If Misused, it hurts the poor soul, The soul, that is hurt takes a long time to heal, And be in fear when new promises arise. The only thing the soul has is hope, the next one will not be the same as the old. -dani
