priority of a friend
A Friend's Priority You're surrounded by familiar faces, Old friends who've known you through life's many places. They hold a special spot, a bond so strong, But in their midst, I feel like I don't belong. Unspoken Longing My heart beats for you, with a love so true, But yours remains a friendship, pure and new. I wish you'd see, the love I hold inside, But your priorities, leave me often to hide. Understanding I get it, old friends are a treasured find, A bond that's forged, through laughter and time. I'll cherish our moments, though few and far, And hope that someday, I'll be more than just a star. Patience and Hope I'll wait and watch, as our bond grows, And maybe someday, I'll be the one you know. Until then, I'll be here, a constant friend, Hoping that love, will be the bond that never ends. Wishing You Happiness I want you happy, with friends by your side, And if that's not with me, I'll step aside. Your happiness matters, more than my own desire, And I'll support you, like a true friend's fire.
