pride
To breathe in the ash and exhale the foundation of a new day Build upon the bones that spilled forth from the abyss you crawled from through rock and metal, through beast and burden We carve our way through to brighter pastures and lush fertile plains. Though in nightmares we toil and in trenches we slumber We all look to the horizon and though the storms roll in and the thunder cracks We see a brighter day ahead peaking through the steel clouds A beam of light and a sliver of hope will spawn a new age An age with which we could only hope our life closes on So that we may fade away knowing our peace was found and that with Pride and honor we fade with all that we have built.
