Pretty Wilting Flowers
I fought for us where you never fought at all. A pretty flower crushed and wilted. Cruel days await me; days you’ll pass, Acting as if we were nothing at all. Darkened eyes may fall on the lonely soul, the one who knows nothing at all. You were a pretty flower I picked with love. I watered and made sure you saw the sun each day. When you were low, I gave you the world; however, you gave me nothing. Nothing at all. So, days pass where I stumble and fall. Watching the pretty wilted flowers’ petal fall.
