Pretty lies
So all this time it was a lie? Orange and yellow way up high, Under the morning and evening sky, when you said, you love me, it was a lie? Just like a tree falls in the forest and nobody hears it fall, my heart shattered into pieces and you? you never heard that, for you it was lie. It was cold outside, but my heart felt more cold and numb, My heart remembers those days when the clay of our heart moulded together perfectly or when we washed our tears in the rain, and you kissed me and said you love me, for you it was a lie? I knew I was never perfect, knotted hair and bad skin, but you brought out my prettiest self so it was a lie? Then met me again in my next dream, Where the cloud spell out our names and sprinkle raindrops, Where the wild flowers and green meadows touches our bare feet, Where my skies are filled with the light of stars, Meet me again when we sit holding hands under the old oak tree, And that is when I'll know it's not a lie anymore, For me, it was never a lie and never will be. -adrizaa
