Pretender
It's been a five years since I felt like my real self. The real me has been stuffed in a box small enough to hold an elf. I'm happy to have the new friends that I've made but sadly the the fun times I've had with them began to fade. The real me would smile and laugh without feeling insecure and give anyone a helping hand because he was pure. He'd never be quiet when the room goes silent or get hurt by the smallest words and become violent. The old me loved living life carefree and didn't really care about the world because it just let him be. The more I think about it the more I remember the current me is just a pretender.
