Pressed
Your pressing me. Pressed tightly so I don't slip and say the wrong thing. Pressed against your short fuse that should never be lit. Pressed so tightly that I couldn't breathe too loudly. Not a peep from my lips. Heart be quiet and lungs be smooth. Pressed between the pages was a funeral flower, dull and fragile. The sweet fragrance it once had was gone. Pressed so tightly life slipped away.
