Present Sir
Lately I've been forgetting experiences Not memories, but the experience of them It's like my brain wants me to remember the shell But not its content Like how we loved beautiful decorative sea shells Yet, we don't want to know what happened to its owner My words felt like it's locked away Like it should never escape the grasp of my neurons This is the only thing I have somewhat of a control in Yet I feel somewhat melancholic, is this the only thing I'm able to managed Like why does the insignificant one is the only thing within my grasp? I felt like I should have done something to fix this Yet I don't think I should I mean, I still function normally I'm just incapable in configuring my settings I like to complain to my owner But I felt like he has done more than enough He brings the death to life I was pile of scraps Metals and wires destined to rot Yet he breathe into me a purpose To live my remaining life feeling... What am I supposed to feel? Can I feel something truly permanent? I felt like my rusty gears outnumbered my polished ones What was I'm doing again? Oh right...I need to live while he's watching My owner tends to get sad when I'm stationary
