Prayer of the Lost Men
I seek neither riches nor fame, nor grand adventures to glorify my name. Lord, keep me humble, though I may fall, let me rise and answer Your call. I pray to be steadfast, I pray to be strong, to face my struggles and right my wrongs. I pray to be kind, selfless, and true, to walk in compassion in all that I do. I pray to be a good man each day, for those I love, come what may. May I be a force of light and grace, a steady hand in a weary place. A pillar to bear the weight of pain, a shelter from the storm and rain. But above all, Lord, I pray for sight, the wisdom to serve, to do what's right.
