Possibility or Serenity?
When hidden emotions run up in the open, but nobody's there to see, The weight of silence echoes, a lonely melody. The heart beats like a drumline, a rhythm wild and free, But in the emptiness, it's hard to find serenity. With all types of thoughts or even a "what could it be?" The mind starts to wander, lost in a sea of possibility. Possibility or serenity, which one to seek, Is it the thrill of the unknown, or a peaceful soul to speak? Emotions that we think are not that deep, Can be the ones that cut the most, and make our hearts leap. Moments of sorrow, moments of pain, Shape us into who we are, and forge our hearts like rain. In every cage and in every drain.
