Pomegranate
I don't think I'm hard to love sure when you open me up I bleed and weep I stain your fingernails and make a mess I don't think I'm hard to love right? i can be bitter growing out in broken soil making the moment feel impossible with the constant care i need I enthused that I am sweet I am threaded with sweetness but it's buried deep I don't think I'm hard to love it just takes time it takes stress and yelling and pulling me apart piece by piece hoping I will be just as you wanted I let you down from time to time my vibrancy doesn't fit into the ideal joy you hope to endure in the end my color is a facade my purpose is to give all that I can but sometimes I can't give all that you need I don't think I'm hard to love but it wouldn't be the first time I'm wrong.
