Poison in th break room
The truth is dressed in lies, Smiles sharp as blades, in thin disguise. Deception walks in polished shoes, Each handshake hides a bitter bruise. Who needs a puppet? Power calls. They kneel, they rise, then watch you fall. A nod, a laugh, a whispered cheer But trust me, nothing’s real here. Who dares reject a plate of power, When hunger strikes at every hour? Bend your back, play dumb, pretend That’s how the weak begin to ascend. A smile? Oh, don’t be fooled by that It’s sugar coating a poisoned rat. You sip the sweet, ignore the sting, Until your soul feels everything. There are no friends within these walls, Only climbers, snakes, and silent calls. They smile for now, but when you slip, They’ll push you off without a grip. This isn’t work, it’s war in suits With ties and files, and silenced truths. Everyone’s starving, chasing pay And they’ll kill your light to feed their day.
