poetry
the words I write on a blank sheet is where I bow my head down and let my tears flow I let my fingers dripple against the paper and my ink dries faster than the love I once felt my paper crumbles and my thoughts drift to a world that could've been mine a world where scars disappeared and I felt what freedom is where i myself as a white bird gets released from the caged that tainted my once beloved heart where i am not just a perfect picture I myself created for the universe to see but a world where the heavens and earth sees what i was created from I fly to that world where my blood won't be shed and my soul won't crack open for the world to see instead there is where I find my peace and not feel like the dog on the leash instead I'd feel the clay God shaped me from I'll belong to someone who is worthy to be called mine now I'll lay my head on my blank page and let my tears write what I couldn't say out loud or just maybe I'll let go of this rage
