poetic Sails
There is a hope slumbering in the edges of the silver lining. There are times when I try to awaken you, and there are times when I want to choke you out of breath, bring you to a close stop. Today you’re on my good side— Awake! That I find hope in the crevices where nobody dares to peek. Let the naked eye see your raw and pure devotion. You can be here in moments of desperation, but my dogs are not barking with sharp teeth. They are here, tamed with curiosity, and the slobber of desperation is fastened. Today I knock at your door— to be friends with you, to side with you in every moment that comes my way: moments when the sail is calm, and in desperate moments when the sail breaks in half.
