Pleasing society
I like staying to myself No, I love staying to myself. I like talking less. Or rather Choosing to speak when spoken too. Avoiding parties and unnecessary events. Avoiding people and staying in bed Because I'm in a lazy mood. But apparently that ain't enough for you. No I have to sell myself. I have to speak more As if words are begging to be spoken. See, I have to radiate emotion. Take out my heart and let it bleed out on my sleeves. Now my extroversion has awoken. But it's too much for you. I've adapted to joyous occasions. So much so that my personality is confused. Should I speak less or talk more? Should I commit to Isolation or conversation? Should I expose my brain's train of thought? Should I open up my heart? Shall I cut out my tongue and burn it? Or should I run it ragged until it falls off? Tell me something. What is it that you want from me? Do you wish to see me bleed? Do you wish to see me collapse from exhaustion? Whoever told you that you made the rules? I don't listen to you. I won't listen to you. After all, without my obediance Who are you supposed to rule?
