Player Two
I lay in a bed with room for two, Still as a scarecrow I wait for you. Why do I hurt when i smile, Sometimes I live my whole life in denial Fighting everyday like it's war, I get through everyday but can't take anymore. Eyes filled with water and eyelids of steel, When will the nightmare end, when will I feel real. I live life feeling like player two, Feeling like sometimes I don't fit in my own shoe. Why can't I ever be enough, Sometimes just to survive I have to be so tough. Everyday is a struggle no matter how good, Nights go by so painful I wish I understood. Why can't I control my mental health, Why can't I just be myself.
