Played hearts.
I see your dwindling silhouette during my restless nights. The robber of nights, I would state, Lurking in its dwindling shadow as the streets darken. My fruitful love cried out, But yet, you wouldn’t figure it out. As the skies darken and violet stars appear, The porcelain heart bears wounds you could never mend. Upon these times, I ponder: On flaccid towers, I wait, yet you never appear. I shout to the divine souls lingering upon the great stars, Yet I see no answer in my eyes. My brain feels empty; I strand upon my demise And count the endless stars. The light which once illuminated the entire universe Falls short in my heart. Why would I fall into filthy snares? I called it foolishness—a fleeting haze. The beautifully coated love was just a drug I once praised. The warmth in her smile was just a blunt attack on a joyous heart.
