Platonic Soulmate
There's this boy - no, I don't like him that way. but - we talk all night giving each other a sense of joy. Oh, no, our friendship - THAT I can't destroy. He likes my company and he likes me for who I am. He knows my past, and he doesn't judge me. It's actually quite funny. Me and him didn't seem like we would get along. Yet here we are, going strong. He's a whole lot different from the boys, I've met. He feels like a daydream. A hard one to forget. He's smart and loving towards his family - He dances with his mom and dad. And he does that happily. Me and him are far from the charts of being together, but it doesn't matter. Because having him accept me for who I am is enough. And that makes me lighter than a feather. ---N.V '24
