Pink
I heard someone say, "you know you're in love when you start liking pink again." I never believed the people who said it until I met him. It started with a number then a date. It wasn't long before I started picking out soft hues I once claimed to hate. Pink was once too girly for me. But now I'd rather wear pink and green. People say, when you start liking pink again, your inner child is healing. And to be honest, I rolled my eyes at the claim of a fleeting feeling. But my comforter turned from black to pink the day I turned 19. The soft shades of pink graced my room and somehow made me feel like a queen. My basic black, white, and grays turn to the softest shades. While I look him in the eyes and say "I'll love you until my dying days". I blamed my friend for "making me a pink girl again". But then the reality set in. It wasn't my friends who made me like pink, it was him.
