Pineapples and Pitayas
Golden, red, yellow and white They'll surprise you with just a bite Luscious and savory when ripe They certainly are all the hype Eating isn't all they are good for These fruits Produce a valuable metaphor Black, grey, brown and dark Depression has a mean bark A pineapple is a king Always in the shaping All you gotta do is stand tall No matter how many times you fall A dragon is a pitaya Strong and fierce this pariah Not a care in the world Walking, flying, or curled Be like them till the end And you will finish on the mend Life with dreariness is hard Even the troubles may bombard You are not alone Just look how much you have grown Together we can win So let me see that grin Stand tall and wear your crown You are who you are Don't turn that down Keep your chin up and your chest out No matter how hard life is You can do this without a doubt
