Pills
I lie in bed, my eyes wide open. It's 5 AM, my thoughts ascew my mind needs roped in. These ideas spiral as a corkscrew. I try to manage, and I try to grasp I don't win. My shadow laughs The bedroom walls act as a cell my lip quakes, my mind shakes, there's a ringing of a bell. my alarm goes off, rattling my ears it only adds to the growing hole of my fears My inner self is poison, so i take a pile of pills hoping to quench the darkness giving chills My soul crying for help, I can only mercy kill My guts are screaming, My mind is flying My vision bleeding, The evil finally dying I wake on the bathroom tile my stomach gave up its bile I tried and failed, but my head feels un-jailed somewhat thankful and with a new view i return to my cell, my world a-new
