Pieces
The first time I looked at you, I knew you were broken too. Knew the jagged pieces, Clattering, clinking, Weighed you down. Made you drown. Knew the fragments sliced at your soul, cut at your throat. Knew of the void hollow. Knew of your solo sorrow. I knew; You'd never be whole, you couldn't mend your soul. Though I didn't know, Our dismantled worlds Would collide. The puzzle pieces, We would provide. They would fit like Jigsaw The key had found its padlock. Also, I didn't foresee, Our fusion Would impose self-destruction. The Fear would be invoked Our garden of Eden would implode. Our battered planets Would once again, shatter, Into a million Shards and splinters.
