Petoskey
I've been coasting on beach fossils, barely getting by. Sun kissed. Chapped lips. Gold freckles. Blue sky. No clouded comfort from the hot and the dry. Shaded brush on my left. World of wet to the right. I linger between, in the desolate space. Where the trash washes up with the rest of Earth's waste. Collecting skeletal stones from the sand - small ghosts, pressed with time. I've been coasting on beach fossils... barely getting by.
