Pestering Ants
You're gone, and I see a memory One that never happened Yet so vivid, an apparition That leaves a tingling In my face, that never seems to end I can feel the sun kiss my skin Soothing the bite from the wind My whole body is warm But my throat hurts I can alost feel you again, I feel torn I think of you, and my brain is tickled thin My brain tickles just like pestering ants All over my skin In the tall daisies I can tell you that we play on a hill And we can be whatever we want to be But I can't tell you I forget who we are In your grasp And my heart pounds to the point I can't even ask I don't feel human without you And I've never seen color How I did when our eyes met, And I just knew I don't know any other way to tell you That I miss you
