I used to play a pond just cuz people cant swim Until one day I realized I am an ocean I make my own decisions Unscathed by other's thoughts and opinions I cant control the world, but my response to chaos is my choice I advocate for what's right, not afraid to use my voice The calmer I am, the clearer I think I pause and breathe so I can respond from a place of peace Respect is not earned, it's given unconditionally Until one decides to slight me intentionally Allow others to have their moods and Allow those moods to have nothing to do with you True freedom is having nothing to hide, nothing to chase, and nothing to prove I've got nothin gain & everything to lose Inevitable is pain, but as for suffering- I get to choose Return to myself, again and again I return to the stillness within when the world starts to spin When I become aware of my truth, I hold on for dear life Anchor the wisdom, so I can return to the light I don't downgrade my dream just to fit my current reality, no I upgrade my conviction to match my desired destiny I can overcome hardship I reconnect with my own strength I navigate any situation with bravery and grace
