Perils of my body
I soak in the bandages that conceal my withered heart, My body is an aching tomb, Brittle and crumbling, Each breath I owe. I cannot release its violent grasp, It seizes my limbs and mind, I weep endlessly at my own betrayal, I cannot hide from my design.
