Peer pressure
Where once there was clarity, Now there's only a haze. You've lost sight of who you are, In this distracting maze. But fear not, for deep inside, Your compass still points true. Listen to your heart's voice, And it will see you through. So, find the courage to resist, And reclaim your own path. For only when you walk alone, Will you discover your true self at last. The roots of peer pressure lie deep, In the need to fit in and conform. The fear of being different, And the yearning to be the norm. Society's expectations weigh heavy, And the pressure to conform is strong. But remember, true strength is found, In standing tall, in standing your ground. So, don't let the crowd sway you, Or make you lose sight of who you are. I have lost my way, In the fog of peer pressure. Where once there was clarity, Now there's only a haze. The roots of peer pressure lie deep, In the need to fit in and conform. The fear of being different, And the yearning to be the norm. So, find the courage to resist, And reclaim your own path. For only when you walk alone, Will you discover your true self at last. ~Constance K Zhakata
