Peer pressure
Walking through the halls, Eyes on me, I feel so small. Whispers, giggles, and stares, I wish they wouldn't judge and compare. I thought I knew who I was, But now I'm not so sure. I feel like I'm drowning In this sea of peer pressure. They say I'm not cool enough, That I need to fit in. But what does that even mean? Why can't I just be me? I try to stay true to myself, But sometimes it's hard to resist. The pressure to be someone else Is so strong, it's hard to persist. I know I shouldn't give in, But sometimes I feel so alone. I just want to be accepted, And feel like I have a home. But I know that I'm worth more Than the opinions of others. I won't let peer pressure define me, I'll be true to myself forever.
