"Peaceful Slavery"
In the quiet embrace of peaceful slavery, We surrender our freedom willingly, Bound by chains of comfort and security, Trapped in a cycle of false tranquility. But is this truly living, or just surviving? Are we truly free, or simply complying? Death by peaceful slavery, a subtle demise, A slow erosion of our dreams and desires. Yet we smile and nod, content in our chains, Unaware of the price of our complacency, Blinded by the illusion of safety and ease, We trade our souls for a false sense of peace. But deep down we know, we long to break free, To shake off the shackles of our captivity, To embrace the unknown, to take a chance, To live fully, to dance, to sing, to laugh. So let us break free from this peaceful slavery, Let us reclaim our freedom, our autonomy, Let us live boldly, passionately, authentically, And let death find us truly alive and free.
