Peace Of Mind
Life’s been loud lately — Too many tabs open in my head daily. School got me drowning in deadlines and doubt, And music… the thing I love most feels like it's phasing out. I can’t even write the way I used to, Can't hit the notes that once came through. My mind’s a maze, my body’s tired, The fire's still in me — just uninspired. I overthink every word, every move, Like I’ve got something to prove but nothing to lose. And truth is, I'm not lazy — I'm just lost. Paying with peace for potential. But at what cost? All I want is peace of mind and money. A calm heart and pockets sunny. To rest without guilt, To wake without weight, To breathe without feeling like I’m late. Let me feel whole, not just busy. Let me hear melodies without the dizzy. Give me time to heal and space to grow, Give me light in places pain used to show. So if you feel me, say a prayer or two, For focus, for funds, and a clearer view. Because I know I’m meant for more than this grind, Just need a little space… a little peace of mind.
