Peace in silence
In a world where words can wound and blame can weigh, I find myself tiptoeing through each day. Expressing my feelings with care and thought, Yet somehow, it's me who ends up caught. Addressing the problems that stir within, Only to find myself labeled with sin. It spirals into a heated debate, Leaving me feeling small, full of self-hate. But when I choose to hold my tongue, I'm criticized for not speaking, for not being young. Caught in a cycle, trapped in a game, Where silence seems to be my only claim. So I embrace the quiet, the solace it brings, Navigating through life's chaotic swings. I'll carry on with a heart that's kind, For in silence, a glimmer of peace I find.
