Peace
In twilight's tender embrace, she stands, A figure cloaked in night’s serene bands. Death, the beautiful, with eyes so deep, A whisper of calm where shadows sleep. Her hair, like silken threads of ebony night, Flows gently in the soft moonlight. Her touch, a cool, soothing breeze, Bringing weary souls sweet release. With a smile that holds the stars' glow, She beckons softly, taking it slow. Her voice, a melody of ancient lore, Guides lost hearts to the tranquil shore. In her presence, fear dissolves to peace, A promise that all suffering will cease. No harsh goodbyes, no pain to bear, Just a journey beyond, tender and fair. Life’s struggles fade in her gentle arms, She shelters from all earthly harms. A beautiful end to a story told, A comforting hand when the body grows cold. In her embrace, no sorrow remains, Only the end of earthly pains. She leads us to the night’s serene, Death, the beautiful, forever unseen.
