peace

through day and night hope fades but my hope has never faded my love has never gone I've been lost the past few years I tried to take control of my life and lead the way and look how I ended so I go back to my lord and my god that got me through my bad days then I prayed for god to give me what I needed not what I asked I always asked for love I always asked for the struggles to stop but god knew what I needed it was peace inside my heart and my mind the kind of peace where your just alright god made me walk thought this wiggly path where there up and downs highs and lows god said I needed peace he asked me to reconnect with my heart to remember what I wanted in the past to heal my wounds that still are deep in my skin god said you have scars and you need to own it god knew I am scared scared of the future he smiled and I let him take take the wheels to my life cause when I tried to take control of my own life I end up more hurt and I learned a lesson today ask god what you need not what you want in your life
