Peace

She was asked “setting everything aside, what do you want?" She answered “Peace" “Why?" she was asked “In this fast moving, loud, dark world peace, true peace is far-fetched. When I talk of peace I don't talk of peace that comes in the form of eternal rest because there are still a lot to do. I ask of peace that transcends this turbulent world. I ask of peace that in times of storms raging within and around me that I will see calmness. The peace that comes in little things, slow mornings, sunrise, sunset, stars, rain, laughter, poetry, dreams and goals, family, friends, self-love. Peace that will fill up lost hope, Peace that gives strength to carry this burden and walk through this road called life".
