Past tense
I dont want to be referred to as past tense, Like a old book at the local library, Or the old cassette in your grandfather's car. I want to be the shadow that follows your vision, Torment like "Somewhere In Time", The ghost that haunts your mind. Why live this life for average, If, in the end, The elasticity of time always wins? Why should I settle for the past, When I am the future and present? We're on this Earth for such a short time, So why live your time, Sayings it's good enough? It should be great! So when our pilgrimage ends, We're not past tense. We shaped our past, So why not shape our future?
